Peter teaches me through his care, through his words, through his gestures but especially through example what it is to be a shaman…
The shaman cultivates humility and compassion. He does not hide his flaws and emotions behind a costume of omniscient medicine man. He assumes his sensitivity and shares his life lessons.
The shaman knows his power, his intentions and the power of intention. His thoughts are creative. He knows that his words can be destructive or creative. For this he must be impeccable. He is a gardener of the territories of the heart.
The shaman must show discernment on all occasions. He does not let himself be caught up in the projections of which he is the object. His heart is his compass. He is a free human, who, in soul and conscience, chooses his direction and assumes it. No half measures in shamanism. It is a full, authentic voice that requires total commitment.
The shaman is the dreamer who dreams the dream in the service of consciousness, of the great spirit. He has his hands in the earth, his nose in the plants. His feet tread the ground. He is profoundly human, allowed men. His service is to the living.
The shaman has an open eye, he sees ordinary and non-ordinary realities. He is a bridge between the invisible and the visible. He listens with his heart, heals with his hands, his soul, his kindness. He is Presence in the heart of the storm.
The shaman is in the service of the great spirit who is love.
Thank you Peter, thank you for your medicine, for your conscience, for your confidence, for your friend. Thank you for your bond and your heart 🙏🏻
